Meanwhile, out here in France there is tons of them still kicking around, and they cost litterally nothing to maintain or repair.
I don’t know what you guys issues are with those, but I’m gonna go ahead and say they are on you, not the car ^^
I’m in Canada, they were not bad for salt attack and held up to abuse well, they did have their idiosyncrasies like all French cars.
I have two friends with 308s (basically same mechanically as this). They do all their own work, and it’s not hard on these. Parts are not much worse than a Porsche, with a few wallet-melters (just like a Porsche).
BLM’s tactics are one of direct action, not unlike what Martin Luther King practiced decades ago. If their protests make you uncomfortable, then it’s working as intended.
I daily drove a 1966 Thunderbird up until sometime last year when I took apart the engine and rebuilt it (it was very old and worn and needed some love). Some things I learned: 1) Old cars are surprisingly reliable if maintained well and driven regularly. My T-bird only left me stranded once, and that was because of a…
I am going to go with Jason on this one. The older cars you mention are not deathtraps after all and given the aftermath of accidents, I would agree. My daughter rides in my 10 year old DTS and a 22 year old z28, I have no problem in either one.
StIcK To CaRs. Is this your first day on the site? They’ve been publishing these articles for weeks. Maybe go move into a cave in Montana.

For was it not Martin Luther King Jr. himself that said:
Do you imagine that protesters are like the zombines in 28 Days Later? You can see/hear them and they are typically just walking/milling about on main roads. Drive around them. Except that some of these incidents weren’t about just getting through, they were about inciting violence.
Assault with a vehicle is still…
So someone in a vehicle, who might be inconvenienced by a crowd, has the right to play judge, jury and executioner and kill them. Got it.
Where are these drivers bootstraps? Why can’t they be responsible for not driving into a protest like a fucking moron.
I often find the protests that are most effective are the ones that are easily ignored because they do not inconvenience anyone.
Because that’s how civil resistance works. Totally. “Be as convenient and mindful as possible to those completely apathetic towards your struggles”
