My father was a Rambler man. I could own far more expensive vehicles, but I drive a Fit. I love it.

The Ecosport doesn’t drive like a small hatch back, and Big V8s and turbos are not really economical, and definitely not something people are looking for in a small hatchback.

I remember the Gen1 Fit had to have a unique nose extension built onto it to get the car to pass crash regs here in the States, which I was bummed about (not that bummed, as I still bought a Gen2 and loved it). Now, with the Civic edging into the 40 mpg real-world ratings, the Fit would need a thorough working over to

I kinda like it. Ya’ll can complain about the big kidneys all you want, but it’s more “heritage” than the tiny ones.
