Yeah, but it was still like a 7 year old car at that point. I don’t think it would be quite that bad. I had a New Jersey Gremlin with over 150,000 miles just a few years ago that looked in much better shape and it wasn’t babied. The Gremlin was in no way a failure. They sold tons of them and it stayed in production

The Renault 4 was another well cast car in that movie.

Called the Sport Sedan here in the U.S.

Kim Kelly’s battered Gremlin on Freaks & Geeks. Perfect choice. Although it’s a less than 10 year old car in the context of the show so I’m not sure if it should be that beaten. But, then again, it is a car from the 70's that was built by American Motors.

I’m not cherrypicking anything. I’m mentioning a car that you mentioned. And I’m not saying that it’s an objectively better car technologically, I’m saying it’s a really fun car. And part of the reason is because it’s old and is inferior technologically. That’s fun. Your 944 may have been slower, etc. than the S2000,

Man, it’s adorable and cool and all the car most people need, so of course it would never fly in America. That said, we do get the Venue which is a great deal and a good car if you need something affordable and don’t need a lot of power.

Yes. For some people. I like what are now very old cars. There’s a visceral experience to driving them that doesn’t exist in new cars. Things that people call out an old car for; clunky suspension, a heavy clutch, no power steering, the fact that it always needs work, etc., are what I find enjoyable about them. I

But, so what? Those of us who love old cars aren’t judging them on those metrics. Except maybe aesthetics which is subjective. I drive an old car because it’s an old car and I enjoy the sensations that go along with its vintageness. And the cars you mention are absolute joys to drive. If you don’t love driving a 928,

She redeemed herself after she left Jim. She embraced her LGBTQ following and became an inspiration to a lot of people with the way she turned her back on her old lifestyle. And she moved Vanilla Ice to tears on an episode of the Surreal Life.

I’m getting used to the rev hang in mine. It still bothers me, but it’s become part of the experience of driving the car. And it’s only a factor when you’re really going for it. Otherwise, besides the Elantra N-Line (and N when it comes out), it is the last of its kind and is a total hoot.

I bought a GLI a couple months ago. I wanted a sedan, and it came in almost 5 grand less than the GTI at the time I got it. They’re getting rid of all but the top Autobahn trim in the 2022, so the $ savings is mostly going away.

Why don’t you just concentrate on the movie instead of what everybody else is doing?

Alien is a masterpiece. Aliens is a good, fun, sci-fi action movie, but no masterpiece.

Are you being funny? Otherwise, this is stupid. Literally the opposite of everything you just wrote is true. It’s all character development, plot, and stylistic action. The plot and character stuff is integrated into the action like it’s supposed to be. And Aliens is far inferior to the original Alien because it’s

It’s one of the 10 greatest action movies ever made. Plus it has the coolest female hero ever, and a nice anti-patriarchy theme. It’s a masterpiece through and through. You have to be brain dead not to find it absolutely exhilarating.

It’s hidden under that arm rest. Up towards the vent window if I remember correctly.

I’m slightly over 6' and never had a problem in my regular cab Rangers.

This is truly the best pickup ever made. How is it not on this list?

100%

Most Americans don’t like cute cars because we’re obnoxious adolescents no matter the age, but I think this car looks terrific. Not sure about that Caucasian prosthetic limb colored one, though. Looks like a butt plug in that shade.
