She did exactly what it says in the Arkansas driver’s handbook to do if there isn’t a safe place to stop. Put on your hazards to acknowledge the officer and pull over when it’s safe to do so.

Fantastic. That is awesome. It may seem silly to put that much work into a Maluch, but in a few years as they become a little harder to find, it might not. I started collecting microcars in the 90's, restoring them not quite as meticulously as this, but still putting a lot of work into them and people thought I was

You’re wrong. They’re a fantastic looking car. That is what makes them worth owning. When you see one on the street it’s incredibly striking. And there are mods to make them a more satisfying thing to drive. You could get an MR2 or the Fiero, sure, but they don’t look like a Delorean. It’s truly a work of art.

I saw one of those at a microcar show like 20 years ago and fell in love. Nice to see there’s another survivor. Changing that rear tire must be a pain in the ass.

It’s definitely a wonder. They’re a waste.

I’m not ignoring anything. Those are the compromises a good chunk of people who buy big trucks can actually make. They’re just stubborn because big truck cool. I’ve had several old compact trucks because I could use a bed but didn’t need all those big truck capabilities. I got a vehicle that was versatile, livable,

Both, I guess. It was adequate as a truck, but I found it uncomfortable and unpleasant to live with. It felt underpowered for its size weirdly. Terrible ride and handling. Just a miserable vehicle.

This is so stupid. Wrong and stupid.

I had a loaner Silverado for a month when I lived in Boston and I couldn’t stand driving that thing in the city. I was ready to set it on fire.

Have you ever read an actual review of a truck? Because a lot of them do do that.

Truck buyers are also stubborn and a little thick in the head. Maybe if they spent a week with a Ridgeline they’d change their mind.

This Renault Le Car was my daily driver for 4 years and never had an issue. Well, it did blow a fuse once. It was a hoot to drive, too.

I had a Reliant K that was practically indestructible. It even got me home after being t-boned by a Corolla.

Yes.

We’re not talking about crossovers, we’re talking about the Ridgeline. But, in your comparison, if I didn’t need a truck, why wouldn’t I buy the Highlander? How is the truck more flexible? It has a bed. If I don’t need a bed, why buy a car with a bed?

That is what makes it more comfortable and livable. Drive it and a Silverado back to back and see which one is more pleasant.

They do say why. They just have to be careful how they say it. The reason to buy it is because a good number of truck buyers don’t need a truck to do hardcore truck things. So why not get something comfortable and more livable that’s still a good truck? But people (read: Americans) don’t want to hear that they don’t

I saw this on an old Ford recently.

A Twingo is a bargain at any price. One of the greatest cars of all time. Someone can make you that glass.

I love Ishtar. It may not be a masterpiece, but it’s a funny and fun movie. Dustin Hoffman and Warren Beatty seem to be having a great time and the fact that it satirizes America’s meddling in the Middle East makes it ahead of its time. It’s a crime that it ended Elaine May’s career. If she were a male director, that
