But you can't play ESO with friends. At least, not well.
Oh, United States, you so crazy.
I hadn't realised that Otherland was a "thing." Great novelisation, if a little overwrought, but I had no idea there was a movement to create a game out of the milieu; gone now before I had a chance to know you.
So say we all!
I was really looking forward to Kindle MatchBook, but wow, what a disappointment.
I've used a variety of keyboards, mechanical and otherwise. I have both a Black Widow Ultimate and a Black Widow Ultimate Stealth (softer keys, less noise, at a small cost of tactile sense) and I enjoy both. I loved the tactile feel of the BWU, but my roommate thanked me for switching to the Stealth - heh.
Off the top of my head, Mass Effect had an animated movie after ME3 released — and it was *terrible*. Not only were the characters not voiced by the original cast (well, except Vega), but the character continuities were completely maligned and none of their interactions made any sense (not represented in the games),…
He's incorrect on the pronunciation of forte. It's perfectly acceptable as either. Americanising it doesn't make it the only way to pronounce it. (Although I'm perfectly fine with ignoring the Americanisation of it altogether.)

I'm in the same boat, brother. Previously, I've always purchased a few games with every sale; I'm hard-pressed to explain why this one's an exception. Do I have all the games I want? There has been a bit of a dry spell in game releases, but there's a ton of games I passed by while I chased the entire trilogy of Mass…
I really wish Kotaku (and Gawker Media in general) would /stop/ embedding videos with viddler.com, because all I see are black screens with "Video Not Found." Embed the Youtube link for crying out loud. Or, in addition to the embed, include a url link to it at the end of the article at least. Otherwise we don't see…
Video Not Found.
I couldn't agree more with MRCorsair. No Shepard = no Mass Effect. As they said in the games, "There's no Shepard without Vakarian." Why people are arguing against MRCorsair is beyond me; how is a game without the gamer (e.g., Shepard) remotely interesting?
In a flurry of news apps, what really sets this one apart?
