@AcornPop: No, plenty of people still feel that way. My group of friends in high school consisted of myself, 3 guys, and 1 girl. We all were huge gamers. The other girls almost never socialized with her. Sure, that's a small example, and high shcool is especially prone to cliques, but the world is hardly as

Since apparently a lot of people are missing the point, the photo is SUPPOSED to be a stereotype, pointing out how ludicrously flawed stereotypes are.

@Fyro: well that is most peculiar. It seems from my experience that gamestop sells nintendo products, they are referred to as games and game consoles, and can be found with the rest of video games in most department stores.

@Boibi: I think that was because the stereotypical gay male is far more exaggerated than a lesbian. I mean I suppose she could have gone the butch route, but that doesn't point out the ludicrousness of stereotyping as well.

@AcornPop: maybe not literally called a tomboy, very people even use that word any more, but there is definitely a perceptual thing of the 'gamer girls' who are just 'one of the guys' and don't fit in (to varying degrees) with the rest of the girls.

@WonderingIsAll: What you are doing here is seriously missing the point. The pictures are designed to over-exaggerate the stereotypes to point out how flawed they are. So of course the depiction of a gay person will be horrendously stereotypical.

@Zero254: My point is some people do not know how to pirate, nor are they interested enough to look it up. When instructions on how to do it are spelled out blatantly on a site like Kotaku they might decide oh hey that looks pretty easy. Had it not been so blatantly explained, they might never have pirated at all.

@lewis82: anyone with a 6th grade level of education could put 2 and 2 together and realize that you can use it for pirating. Since as you mention and as I said the information is already easily available if you're looking, then why fucking promote it? By promoting it even if its only a few people, there will be some

@Anthony Scott: I am going to paste my response from another ccomment:

@EroThraX: There's a difference between stopping the spread of knowledge, and actively promoting it. If someone wants to backup their own games they can find it in moments on google. If someone wants to pirate, they can find it in moments on google. Someone who hasn't considered pirating could now see it posted on

@Anthony Scott: what you're missing is that this article, to use your own metaphor, is essentially a complete guide to building a bomb. sure you can use it to defuse a bomb, but it also spells out how to build one.

@OmegaSpartan08: While in the minority among people commenting on this I agree with you. The intentions may be the noblest, but it is practically a tutorial for pirating. It would be like giving instructions to break into a bank vault so you can make deposits 24/7. Sure there may be legitimate, even useful reasons for

@Ophite: even a little bit o-

Something about this news strikes me as a little-

@phatnacky: yeah I know what you mean, I hate when I'm trying to roll up my pant legs and my hand hits the bottom of the desk.

But how long until Leno manages to work his way onto the cover of Madden and send Brees packing?
