I smell a ladder to move up.

Conor is appreciative!

Timely.

I'm digging the livery.

It's no longer a contender because the replacement has been completed, but the old Carquinez Bridge in NorCal was awful. It was a dinosaur built in 1927 to connect the Bay Area to Sacramento across the Carquinez River.

We drive across this causeway going from Houston to Birmingham (and back!) every trip to see my in-laws. It sucks, but it's at least in good repair.

It might be street, but to body is all Go Speed Racer, Go. These cars are kitten-fart light at only about 2,100 pounds, and the kit is rather parsimonious. Still, it seems to have everything you'd need, and not much you needn't.

Now playing

Any time I read or hear anything about either Hellcat model, this comes to mind:

Take it on SR130 and open 'er up.
It's smooth, reasonably straight and an 85mph speed limit. The potential to go faster is certainly there...

That depends...

It probably would.

With blue striping.

Jaguar will be tossing its own effort into the "luxury crossover" segment with the five door all-wheel-drive "F-Pace." It is expected to be similar to Jaguar's 2013 C-X17 concept vehicle. It will be Jaguar's attempt to offer a model to compete in a segment it currently hasn't entered.

Eh.
The plastics have no better tactile feel than before, save for the unique textures or shapes molded into the pieces/parts. It's still plastic. It won't feel like leather or wood or brushed metal or even fermented mammoth flesh or whatever. When you want to run your hand across your dash or center stack or door

It's your own fault for being an out of touch ass. You got what you deserved. Get over it and move on.

It lacks one important element that makes auto racing exciting and entertaining: speed.

And my base model Tacoma is 41-50% jalop. At least it has a manual.

Looking at the C&D photos and the artist renderings, I can't help but wonder....
