For the record....

Waze isn't making anyone do a damn thing.
Waze is simply showing users what is reported along their regular commuting route and the driver acts accordingly. There is nothing from stopping a Waze user from following the route through the reported traffic incidents in the residential area.

Probably to upload the dashcam video somewhere to get it to a news outlet.

I never attempted to donate, so I wasn't aware that US fans could not or would not.
