Guy's point of view - it's simple - he is charming and funny; he isn't particularly good looking but charming and funny is more important in the long run. Being physically attractive is important, but I hypothesize its more of a suggested prerequisite for most women.

I think its a case of a "grass is greener" mentality, fantasy is usually dispelled after a short time once the reality sets in.

that is really odd - especially since it has the lyrics "....and your third fiance didn't show......" as well as "......your husband wants to be a girl....." Not exactly what you want to hear at a wedding. I would pick "Family Ties" as the song - appropriate lyrics for the occasion and who wouldn't want to have the

Cheers. While both are great at explaining the premise of the show (a big plus), Cheers starts off somber but then reassuring and comforting whereas the Jeffersons' is more self congratulating. I'll never understand the hate for suburban living - its often safe, clean, and a nice place to raise children. I roll my eyes when people extol the virtues of city living and relegate suburbia to a prison : "the houses look the same, the lawns, the walmarts!" News flash - the apartments you love aren't revolutionary

unless you are a descendant of the founders and initial settlers of Austin, please stop. I'm sick of Austin residents spewing this refrain - not just to Californians but anyone not native to Austin. We all came from somewhere, chances are you are 1st or 2nd generation in Austin. Get over it. People come there for jobs

if you're preoccupied with Asian eateries (and that is vague - what part of Asia?) then Houston is your answer, they have every ethnic group imaginable and the authentic places to eat, and its usually pretty cheap.
