Seriously! And I don’t *think* buying the Special Edition will retroactively give you the DLC for the older version. Would it be wrong to buy the Special Edition and then pirate the older versions of the DLC if it doesn’t?

Sadly, not for the older version of Skyrim. Getting just all the DLC costs $45, whereas the Special Edition costs $20 for everything. But if you want the game for the mods, then you need the older version and the older versions of the DLC.

Many mods (including this one, currently) do not work with the Special Edition of the game. Hence why buying the special edition isn’t the solution here.

Is there any way to still get the DLC for the base game on Steam? I only see the Special Edition, which I didn’t upgrade to, so I don’t have all the DLC, and it seems like Bruma is for “Oldrim,” as the kids are calling it, and won’t work with the Special Edition (as the case is with a lot of mods still.)
