Was there any guarantee nuking New York would actually destroy the machine with the Cosmic Cube and close the portal? That thing was essentially surrounded by a magic force field. I'm sure Nick Fury had seen Independence Day and knew there could be aliens with shields that are invulnerable to Earthican nukes and

Overall I liked the season. It wasn't excellent, but there was a lot of cool stuff and it could've been A LOT worse. If the original series hadn't been so incredible, Korra would seem a lot better. It had quite a bit to live up to.

@BRBBOWFLEXN — From the game's FAQ:

Hell fuckin' no!

I don't know if that's really true. The stories have pretty much always been linear in adventure games, but the game play itself wasn't always that restrictive. In games like Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, and the Monkey Island series you often had many, many rooms to explore and characters to interact with

From the Kickstarter Terms of Use:

The issue isn't whether or not Roger Ebert LIKES games, though. He may have liked this game, but he never calls it art.

You only get charged for your pledge if the Kickstarter project reaches its goal. So if a project asking for $5000 only gets $1500 in pledges by then end, no money ever exchanges hands.

What about a class action lawsuit?

@Crazy Uncle Nic — I think you've misunderstood. When a Kickstart project asks for money, the amount they ask for is their goal. If they don't get enough pledges to make that goal, they don't get any money. BUT if they make that goal, they get the money, and from that point on there's no guarantee they will complete

I pretty much agree. It makes no sense to have a second screen but use it in a manner where you'd only be looking at one screen at a time. Might as well just have it appear on the main screen. Which is what developers making cross-platform games will do anyway, and then the question is will the games really be that

The song was written for the movie "Patch Adams" and reused for Enterprise. The images were fine, but really, using a song from a horrible movie, that was barely three years old at the time? Did it save the producers that much money to come up with an original theme?

The cartoon actually had a different theme song. The theme in this video is definitely from the original show.

Huh. I saw it and agree with everyone who says Brave is "a Disney film done by Pixar" as opposed to "a Pixar film." It is a good film, though.

The armpit webbing is something that often came and went depending on the artist. MacFarlane drew the webbing in his 90's series.

Actually, the original already had multiplayer, as people could play as Mario and Luigi. I remember when playing with someone else it was always a mad dash to get to the coins that come out of tubes after knocking over enemies.

@firefly - I think Mooglecharm is referring to the drummer for The Clash at Demonhead, not Kim Pine. Indeed, Kim does have a bigger role in the book, as did everyone, but the drummer for Envy's band in the movie does pretty much nothing, but in the book she had a bionic arm (which is in the game) and stuff. She's

What's a radio?

Envy appears in the movie before the performance. When Scott goes to Second Cup, there's an Envy poster behind him and when he turns around it's actually her. #corrections
