yes, racing, platforms, rpgs, party games, questionable games, etc. each genre played in its own unique way. nintendo more about an experience change over a character change.

So how have those 3rd parties been treating the customers lately? They treat customers with great respect right? :p Now sony is okay, but 3rd party?.... not so much.

Now lets be honest here. Every single console producer the last generation had a hard patch. 360 had a crappy 1st year with extremely faulty hardware, they are now forgiven. ps3 had the most questionable decision by making hardware so advanced that no 3rd party wanted to touch it, and a ridiculous high costing

Here's the thing you keep forgetting. Sony and Microsoft have not been profitable in the gaming department. They get their money from other departments keeping the gaming department alive. At the moment they are in the race on the "facade" of being the best in sales. They sell alot, but they do not profit from

your entirely missing the point. Popular horror films of the past had a far stronger sense of, "This ain't real" than some movies of today. For comparison video game wise there is GTA1 and GTA4. GTA used to dabble in the parody of a criminals life. They had you do stupid unbelievable stunts or heists. Now they

Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Halloween? Even pay attention on how unrealistic their actions are? Sure they used real people, but they did not try to be realistic about the kills. How often were those villains killed, but still kept coming back again and again? Compare those old movies to the Saw series. Saw follows a

Oh, that was true long ago. games did game things to let you know its all fake. But with publishers pushing realism and physics into games. games of now are not so easily the games of the past. for example. that throat cutting scene where you see the person face as they die slowly is no longer 'just' a game.

ever play mgs1 on the ps1? in that game you fought a muscle guy in the freezer who wore no shirt and was bald. the main leader also never wore a shirt. the game was played in alaska.

Because the people that wanted the feature originally on the vanilla Vita didn't expect that it would come in the future, for an extra $100? That you don't need a vita to play vita games doesn't help. Nintendo did the same thing for the gameboy and gameboy advance. BUT everyone knew the peripheral was a companion

Okay, so this one character, Quiet, is what ruins the seriousness of the MGS series? It wasn't that Solid Snake destroyed a tank with grenades alone? When Solid beat a telekinetic/ESP person. Or beating a muscle man with no shirt on in a freezer. Or when Raiden beats a fat person who is a bomb expert on roller

Damn it! The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers hit my boy heart really hard. T^T.

Satisfactory Man

Well Hung Man.

Long Shadow Man.

Intimidator Man

High Tower.

Yeah, I saw the Gangland episode on that a few months back. They are no where near as good as you make them out to be. Sure they put kids in school, but they put "their" kids to school. Meaning everything they did was to improve their gang. Not to improve the overall community. Drug trade does not help to paint

I believe what Pyronite was saying is that we have no idea if said gang members are still active gang members or are they trying to rehabilitate? If the gang members are still active gang members, than rockstar is paying them money because they are active gang members. I hardly remember a gang in US that actively

Will say that ZombiU has been the most under-rated horror survival game in decades. I have never felt so much fear playing a game at night since Silent Hill on psone.

I'm all up for criticism for questionable decisions. Have you read the comments on the Kotaku article about Sony's VR gaming headset? That comment section has 20% of the venom that Nintendo has for their own recent announcements. And I wouldn't even say they are hateful comments but slightly perturbed comments. So
