Even still, he's right. It really does just feel like a paint job.

...you do know that it's a developer beta, right?

Don't waste you breath. These guys are just Fandroid shills trying to make the update sound bad before people can try it for themselves. If he really used it he would know it's a lot more than basic UI changes.Anyone watching the Keynote knows that.

GetTheFoffth..... People are looking at the iOS experience/Android experience/BB experience, they aren't looking at whether or not one has a built in flash light or not.

Don't do it man - and I'll tell you a very legitimate reason why: Google Play. Don't get me wrong, I have a Nexus 7 and I love it for what I use it for but I still rely on Apple to bring me the best and newest apps out there because Google can't really compete when Apple was there first. Apple had plenty of time to

Android is basically the same as iOS. I switched over to Android for a while, buying into the "customization" hype, but found that it was just that - hype. There are tweaks you can make in Android that you can't do in iOS, but the reverse is true, also. Folders and organization are handled differently in Android than

The funniest thing is that most people who whine about it and actually get an android phone, barely make any changes to the their new phone. Most of the people who complain that iOS is too closed off, do nothing on Android that can't be done on iOS.

Stop demanding radical changes. iOS 6 works just fine for me, and now I'm worried Apple made a new update that's way too different and complicated just to satisfy the demands of people like you who want something new. So many things not broken in iOS 6 and now they may be for the next release.

Well, DesignKid thinks Apple's all going to be like "Uh, no, we have to change it. Otherwise we lose our dear customer DesignKid."

Exactly. For me, Android has been making eyes for a while, but I am so afraid that I am going to miss the unified ecosystem. I love that I can throw videos from m phone to my TV, or respond to messages from my laptop. Even if this is just a "new coat of paint" that was really all I wanted.

Don't let the door hit you on the ass!

I disagree. There's a lot of stuff that changes the system flow. Chiefly, that almost any time you have a back button in the top left, a swipe from left to right takes you back, which reduces the reaching you have to do. You've got the notifications and control center accessible from anywhere, even the lockscreen, and

I think that's the gist of things... if you want customization and flexibility, iOS won't be your bag. But Apple wants it that way. They want to control it such that everyone experiences iOS the way Apple WANTS you to experience it. Nothing more, nothing less... not that there is any problem with that. The

yep you're rght nothing fundamental has changed in os7, just the makeup. I'm too heavily invested in the ios ecosystem though (apps, airplay devices, mac mini htpc's, mac books, ipads, etc), plus i love the ease of not having to maintain my equipment so no android for me.

Why do people always threaten to go to Android. Just do it and stop whining. I've gone back and forth between the two. Both have pros and cons, but iOS is just a more polished system. I'm on an s3 right now and will switch back this fall.
