The snake probably just wanted to eat all the mice that were also coming in through that hole.

I use my Switch exclusively as a nonportable console. I have a lot of games and regularly swap among a wide variety of them. It never runs out of power, and the joycons work fine, thank you very much. I actually couldn’t be happier with it, though I do prefer to buy certain titles on PS4 because the resolution is

Wouldn’t it be better if Nintendo just made their own multiplayer battleground game with Nintendo properties? Or better yet, a battle royal, since that’s what the kids seem to like these days?

Sorry, I have trouble getting worked up over packaging that is so marginally relevant in the first place. I mean, good luck even finding a GameStop, and the employees at Target actually look surprised if you ask them about a video game.

There was once a shitty indie game I will not name, and I owned it on Steam. It would update literally every other day, and these were not tiny 5-second updates. They often took upwards of five minutes for some ungodly reason.

I literally never use my Switch in handheld mode.

A lot of times it’s because they’ve sunk so much time and/or money into it, they’d feel guilty about leaving. As if it’s all not really a huge waste if they just keep on logging in.

The trick is to just enjoy the damned game in the present.

Mimikyu is already a serial killer, so it’s more like someone who already looks a little like Ted Bundy dressing up as Ted Bundy for Halloween.

Stopped reading after the assertion that the company that owns Dungeons & Dragons is “one of the most boring companies in the world.”

... or play more video games.

The saddest thing about this story is that anyone cares at all about anything Pewdiepie says or does.

No matter how much I agree with the sentiment that the society portrayed in the game is horrific, I don’t think I’d like it if the game took anything but a disinterested perspective, especially in the early stages of the story.

I wanted so much to like Chrono Cross — partly because of the music — but I just couldn’t keep playing it, because it was so horrifically ugly. This is much the same reason as I quit playing FF8.

I’m saying it’s not a surprise, that’s all. You are the one bringing the label “lesser culture.”

@Yes ... Agree on all counts, especially the loot boxes. The presence of loot boxes in other Activision games does not mean there will be loot boxes in every iteration of every game they are connected with. There are plenty of existing Activision titles that have not been infected with that particular nuisance.
