“I’m a perpetual referee in their own personal Fight Club.”
i’ve heard youngsters + wrestling = lots of crying
I have identical twin 5 year old boys and this type of stuff happens from the moment they wake up until they go to bed. I’m a perpetual referee in their own personal Fight Club. Except they are more violent.
Filed to: NO KIDS
I like how the ref doesn’t really give a shit. I’m sure he knows the kids are related, so he’s like, this is dad’s problem, not mine.
But doesn’t that hurt him at the same time?
Two twins enter. One twin leaves.
This is like watching The One starring Jet Li. Only significantly better.
I laughed pretty hard until I saw the puncher crying, now I almost feel bad for him.
I was really touched by the pain and grief on that child’s face right before he hits his brother in the balls.
I don’t think this shows pettiness on Lurie’s part. The whole story is about this being emblematic of Kelly’s way of conducting himself. That this may, perhaps, have been the last act in a long list of ways Kelly has demonstrated a divide between his attitude and Lurie’s seems perfectly reasonable.
Uhhhh....it sounds more like Kelly had an issue with the original date
You “need to think someone is complaining.” The only complaint I read in this story was Kelly’s complaint about the timing of the party (which the story described as occurring at the same time every year...and this is Kelly’s third year).
When did I defend the process? I simply described it as incomplete. Can you explain how you would have run the team differently after the previous GM traded the best 2 players on the roster for Andrew Bynum?
How is this petty by anyone except Kelly? Kelly threw a fit, demanding the change in the schedule for “game preparation” and then Kelly fucked it up, just like he fucked up every other big game of his career.
Snyder is notorious for being petty. Jeffrey Lurie is being petty here. Do I have to explain the fucking color of the sky to you, too?
Get fucked.
Sort of cherry picking there. He signed a bunch of African-American free agents. I assume he signed some white free agents, but I struggle to think of who. No one of significance. Same for the draft. Why Riley Cooper is still on the roster is mystifying for talent reasons alone. Chip seems to prefer players that are…
Meanwhile, over on SI.com, human garment bag Peter King is lamenting the loss of the innovative and not-at-all-racist Chip Kelly, comparing him to Chuck Noll and Bill Belichick. King says there’s no evidence that Kelly is racist. He’s right, there isn’t, except for the facts that he let two of his most potent…
