Such a freak occurrence, dying from massive brain damage in boxing. How does something like that happen? So strange.

People always like to rag on ASU, but is it really so bad? Yes.

Your analysis definitely applies to the schools in the SEC, but the sports-heavy schools in the ACC and Pac-12 are usually pretty highly rated scholastically as well.  Except Arizona State, they’re only highly rated in STDs per capita.

As LKjus points out, UCLA is comparatively extremely selective and objectively a very good school. Plus, a huge part of its appeal to many would-be students growing up in the suburbs is that it’s in the middle of LA and has easy access to all of its attractions.

There are a few parks around the league where the teams share a door to the field. I have always wanted what you described to happen. Just two hot headed relievers throwing haymakers in the outfield.

a gift basket for you, sir

YEAH JEETS

This did not go how I thought it was going to go. I actually think of Ned Yost as less of a pud now.

?

For a movie made by community college students, it’s phenomenal.

Sometimes I’m ok with a fan riot and the opposing team being escorted away by law enforcement as bottles and the occasional hand grenade rain down upon them.

I’m not saying that was the best first pitch I’ve ever seen, but I’m not not saying it either.
