Yeah, I wasn’t as concerned with ruining the artistic integrity of Friends, just curious. There are for sure some scenes where their heads are precariously close to the top of the frame though, which is what led me to question how they did the change. I couldn’t find anything that explained that they scanned in the

I haven’t had a chance to watch the video yet... but it always bothered me how Friends was being shown on Netflix in 16:9 when (at least the early seasons) weren’t shot in that format. Did they crop it? Vertical pan/scan? Did they somehow get access to the masters and re-crop?
