VMware View is the same as Citrix Receiver and a host of other Virtual Desktop delivery apps. I think the real difference here is that you aren't required to set up your own server. OnLive is providing the environment without the need for a server or a remote machine available like LogMeIn or GoToMyPC's iPad apps.

Just don't put too much in there or the crap will just sit on top of the water and stink to high hell until you flush.
