I agree with you, but you need to keep in mind that design always follows trends. Trends set by radical, exotic, bold vehicles.

This is lazy, even by Galpin standards, just haphazardly applying GR-1 design elements at an awkwardly proportioned body. The GR-1 was based on the GT too, by the way.

My, oh my! After looking at these pics many times, I love the front end........a lot. The back end is going to have to grow on me. At this time, I kinda like it. I'm looking forward to seeing some videos of it.

The rear wheel looks like it's sitting too far back. Also the rear clip profile is so flat it looks like it was cut & pasted from another car.

First!

The best looking Spykers were the original Spyder and its brethren. This is nowhere near as impressive. Interior is still nice; I love the quilted leather and that shifter. The exterior design is fairly dull though.

With you on that, and I love the C8 enough to actually buy one, career permitting. If Spykers are supposed to look like airplanes, where is there an airplane with a Raymond-Loewy coke-bottle character line? It's like a C3 Corvette's Millenial-style cousin.

The glamour shots look fake. Kinda like renderings. And they look a lot better than the natural photo on top...
