Oh man... I had completely forgotten about this thing. I think I had a poster of this once (my dad used to work for BMW way back in the day).

My dad used to work for BMW, and got to drive an original M1 to a buyers house for Bimmer once. He loved it, and, as with all 80's supercars, hated it at the same time. This was definitely beautiful, and definitely stuck true as an homage, with good updates.
