In the words of the late, great Flo Kennedy, are you the alternative?

Because your gender, class, sexual orientation, etc. all inform the way you "experience" your race. No matter if those parts of your identity are oppressed or not. (And vice versa, all the way around.)
My cousin works in a meat-packing factory, specifically one that packs hot dogs. He refuses to eat meat. Won't tell us what goes in them, either.
I agree, and I also think the fact that the women act as though they enjoy being humiliated and degraded is what gets a lot of men off.
There's no denying white women have that unconscious (and conscious) bias against black men, but so do white people of any and all genders. Women of any race have the right to mistrust strange men of any race, just as people of color of any gender have the right to mistrust strange white people of any gender.
I'm not putting words in your mouth. I posted: "Why do you assume biological family = healthy family?" and you responded: "I'm not assuming anything. I'm talking basic statistics here...That's reality."
Oh stop. Nowhere am I being "needlessly judgmental". There's nothing wrong with wishing more parents would adopt.
It could very well be that children raised by their biological parents have fewer mental health/behavioral problems than kids in the adoption system, but that still doesn't mean it's a statistical reality that a biological family is by definition a healthy, or even healthier, family. And unless you can show me the…
I'm not saying no one should have their own kids. Just that I wish more people would adopt rather than continuing to have their own.
Actually, I wonder why anyone who has kids with their own genes didn't adopt, not just those who have fertility "issues". The world is overpopulated and there are so many babies and children out there who need homes. Yes, as humans we have an innate drive to procreate and pass down our genes. But as humans, we've also…
don't forget the middle class white people!
hahaha perfect.

My acne cleared up when I stopped using products with salycillic acid and switched to a fragrance-free cleanser for sensitive skin, and used cocnut oil as a moisturizer. I had heard acne clears up when you use less-harsh products but never believed until I finally tried this...really worked for me.
Didn't know that about nail health. I always credited my OPI top coat. I waitress part time on the weekends so my hands and nails take a beating, too.
To each their own :)
Really? I've been doing my own nails for years, and it usually lasts about a week. Two thinish coats of color, then a top coat. Works like a charm..as long as I don't pick it off. :)
ding ding ding.
