As an aging (42yo) athlete, I’ve had plenty of my share of aches, pains, and outright surgeries to fix the occasional issue (latest was meniscus repair ~3 years ago). But let me tell you, all of that pales in comparison to issues my non-active friends have. Bad backs, bad knees, bad ankles, weight issues, high…
Swimming saves bones and joints.
Exercise. This is a hyuuuggee category of activities.
It’s been 10 years since the show concluded, that really isn’t that bad of a distance from a different media reboot/ remake.
I’ve always liked the Curtiss Aerocar w/trailer.
Shut it, Barkley. :)
It shouldn’t be degraded, the original quality should be worse. VHS color shifting and random tracking errors aside, this is a Full HD video clip, meaning it has four to eight times more detail/sharpness than any period commercial could have hoped to have (seeing as it would have been mastered for NTSC at the time).
Funny enough, it wasn’t the jokes or the action that sold me, but the parts where he’s trying to figure it all out, especially that last scene. Yeah, a little cheesy, but I like how much Drake as a character has really loved history, and the fact that they tried, even a little, to have that show through is cool to me.

Takes a little practice to get used to trusting your gear,…
It was the only possible end point for him. Anyone who has felt the pull of depression and despair when they’re otherwise positive and hopeful knows that a shattering, traumatic event like, say, having your entire temple burnt to ash and your pupils massacred by your erstwhile protege and nephew would definitely drive…
No offense, but maybe the title should have been:
Sorry katie_keys, but the lone star tick doesn’t have to acquire alpha gal, it is born with it. Part of the chemical cocktail that is injected into the human with each bite.
That’s not a Lonestar tick. This is a lone star tick:
Not disagreeing, and I suspect we both know more about this subject than the discussion warrants.
For a lot of people it’s about control and self-awareness. Even a bad tracker offers a nudge to better health.
Some people just do stuff for the doing of it. The payoff is they made something cool.
This is more of a biological atavism than a vestigial trait, but I have prehensile toes—my big toes are separated from the rest by a bit over a 1/4-inch gap, and the next and middle toes are relatively long and flexible. In my family we call it "monkey feet" and it's fairly common—in fact, when I was a kid I thought…
