Thanks for posting this, I devoured the (apparently re-releases) Beverly Cleary books as a child in the early 80s. So so so good. Especially the Ramona Quimby books which were filled with an offbeat lead female character that I oh-so identified with.

Remember loving this one too when I was wee.

This book TERRIFIED me as a child. Except I read the one with the even creepier cover (still have it on my bookshelf too!). That book gave me SERIOUS nightmares.

So glad someone else posted Christopher Pike, one of my first in a never-ending line of guilty pleasure authors that stretched all the way back to 3rd grade.

About 10 years ago, I weened myself from full calorie soda to diet soda. Then about a year ago, I got one of those Soda machines to make sparkly water and have switched to (mostly) water with occasional juice. The thing that scares me is now when I try to drink diet soda it just tastes like what the detergent aisle…
