I'm pretty sure the Choose Your Own Adventures (and the Encyclopedia Brown) books helped turn me into the crazy curious problem solver I am today. :)

About 10 years ago, I weened myself from full calorie soda to diet soda. Then about a year ago, I got one of those Soda machines to make sparkly water and have switched to (mostly) water with occasional juice.
