I dont understand the appeal of games like this and Terreria and Steamworld Digg. I'm sure they're fun but calling them adventure games? going left and right is not an adventure, you have to choose and side and continue going. That isnt exploration, that's your only option. Can someone enlighten me?

There has to be another way. I don't have that solution but I really feel that killing before being killed is not a good blueprint…
