Well it wasn't an insanlly budgeted film so wasn't super out there, marketing-vice. And the only trailer made it look like a stupid blockbuster. People also judget it pre-release on the merits of recent films like "Push" and "I am number 4" Where as Chronicle was both fresh and well directed.

Having JUST watched Chronicle (yesterday in fact) I am getting some great vibes from this!!

FFXI wasn't turn-based, nor had random encounters...

Hadn't played BF3 since the double xp weekend a while back, and two things came to mind:

Awesome, still not completed Tombie(a) 2, loved that game. Still have the copy, gonna have to walktrough it a bit:P

1: You also have to remember wow is an mmorpg, not an rpg/jrpg, and what that entails.

Actually, the start of wow like many other older mmorpgs are the best part. discovering the main city for the first time, seeing high level characters and feeling a sense of awe at their aparent...awesomeness. It sets up the story of your race/faction, gives you a few simple moves and lets you loose on the world...

Massive fan of CB and WR. Besides Jazz this doesn't really give me any reason to compare it to CB but hey, I haven't watched an anime with something new and ineresting for a loooong time.. Might as well check it out.

God Bastion just SOUNDS so amazing, such a great game..

Just make it local as well and actually SPLIT the screen down the middle.. no more of those little windows thank you very much...

Anyone who hasn't allready should read the 11 piece Suikoden III manga. It is beautifully drawn and very well written.

All the goory goodness made me allmost not feel underwhelmed by the lack of scale for the actuall beach landing. But I really can't hold it against them, they did well with the budget they got and it was a damn good episode on the whole ^^
