@CrashBandicooter: To be fair, the 3 disks were just tons of FMVs on each one...

This method of "invitations" leads me to suspect that they do this to avoid criticism of their project not being great.
@indrawnperson: You must be blind or tolerable. The screenshots look a lot better in comparison to the video demos they have. And to the rest of the blind ones: yes I did set it to 720p.
Youtube still making the video quality look crap.
@Slagathorian: Stand tall and shake the heavens...: Yes you can, I just don't recommend it for some older games since they will treat the controller as only 10 buttons.
@kiddicus: Because it is simply easier to cater to the masses on consoles. Most on consoles just don't want to bother with keyboard and mouse (Despite controller input being available) and/or bother with system requirements. They don't know better or just prefer the cheaper or ease of a console. Catering to them isn't…
This just leads me to suspect that Gamestop may just offer less on trade-in prices (and maybe credit) and still have the same turnabout in profits by offering them $5 less like usual.
They are screwed. Koei's series and Sengoku Basara will just make them feel silly for attempting this.
@Atomsk88: I thought it was something like "White" or "Black" editions. Complete must be "Gray"
@Curse lily: ㅋㅋㅋ ㅅ.ㅅ
@Curse lily: やらないか・・・?
@TRT-X: I don't believe high tech as a label to mean "no problems may occur when trying to use appropriately."
I'd go the crazy route and speculate more. MS loves the word "monetize", so they can do this for people that worry about price. Sell the product for $10, and then "monetize" it through monthly or yearly subscriptions to keep the damn thing working similar to Xbox Live. Low entry cost and MS will have people spending…
@TRT-X: I thought the real problem would be finding stores that would dedicate enough space to demo the thing. You may have customers getting in the way to screw with people testing the product.
The fish strikes again!
@bakagaijin: Ammunition is expensive though...
@bakagaijin: It should be fine as long as you don't have liquids and/or dust coming into contact with components. It'd be very bad if it is humid.
@Muskrat 42: Turn that into an acronym.
It definitely is a great marketing technique. Giving away the prequel for free for a limited time to get people interested in Portal 2. In fact, many people who are playing it are interested in the sequel after playing Portal 1.
