I'm amazed Sony is beating MS to the casual target market. They have details, games and everything pretty much ready. I guess after the rushed launch of the PS3, Sony seems to know what they are doing this time around.

@Covert_Knight: To correct you, you don't need a console nor a PC to play this, they will sell (or give) their "micro-console" to subscribers and they can play directly to a monitor or TV.
@RockyRan: I'm sure they won't let you have access to the games. It'd be pointless for them to lend their hardware to you for free if you only buy the games. The games stay with them if you cancel the subscription. They have to get their "cut" somehow, and just hosting everything for you for free just wouldn't be…
@deanbmmv: Optical mediums as in Disk based. I'm probably misunderstanding something from emulating PSOne through a PC and sometimes having save states screw up. "Iffy" as in not always working right. Sorry that I can't seem to explain it better.
@deanbmmv: I always figured save states are iffy when you have optical medium for software.
@AncientUnknown1: You should probably give away your shelved games to Child's Play then. That way someone can enjoy them ^ ^
@deanbmmv: I never heard this service claiming save states.
@Yossarian: I was expecting $15~20 besides the cost of games. So there's really no surprises to me. The only thing they'd be able to surprise me with, would be cheaper prices than other venues like steam or retail, but only if they are about $10 instead of like $5~1.
@deanbmmv: I don't think you could transfer your back catalogue into OnLive, so that 3 games a year thing only applies if its the new games.
@Danarcho: It'd have to be steam prices or D2D. I don't think they'd allow competitors to undercut them, ESPECIALLY the brick and mortar stores.
@Kobun: Doesn't it stay dated though? It is just 720p if you have the connection to support it, yes? It is basically just getting console resolutions or lower.
@deanbmmv: Must be a mid-west thing, I've never heard it from the west-coast and southern Americans.
@crabperson: It is only streaming. So even if you bought two copies of the game (1 for tower, 1 for OnLive) you still can't transfer the save over to your onlive account. You're not allowed to touch those files.
@Zolbrod: Corrections tag it and be glad he didn't think it meant adoption. ㅋㅋ
I expected to see nothing but "DS" stuff instead of anything related to Wii. I always figure the DS to be many times more popular than the Wii itself, hmm...
@senselocke: It isn't just manga, it is basically everything, from advertisements, anime, apparel and other things.
@Teran: It doesn't really matter, they've been trying this for some time and they will get rid of cat ears (猫耳) if they get their way as well. Basically, it is the start of a lot of laws to get rid of "immoral" stuff.
@tetracycloide: Yeah, I agree... the blame does lie on a stupid decision to leave the gun loaded and on top of a table that a 3 year old could reach. We all make stupid decisions and unfortunately this cost a child her life.
@RoboticSpacePenguin: It is a chinese gun, they aren't bound to the US laws when imported.
@plasticmouse: I agree with this statement, may want to add "maids inside" too.
