Not only can I drive a manual, I can operate trucks with multiple gearshifts in the cab. I prefer a high side/low side switch though.

@sprale: Update: Alligators dangerous no matter how drunk you are...

@MaWeiTao: This kind of thing always seems to be more prevalent at dealerships. I don't know why, I'd guess because so much of their work is warranty stuff.

@DoctorNine: Naw, this is more entertaining.

The trick with this is going to be how well it holds up. Police cars see an insane amount of abuse.

@alexLmx6: Had one for awhile. Great little cars and fun to drive. The 4 wheel steering (until it quit working) made parking in Atlanta a lot easier too.

@Baby Beater Benz: This is why you hire a professional security company and not deal with the 'rent a drunk' outfits. :)

@irishelement: Public flogging. 30 lashes in the town square would slow this kind of crap down.

@87CapriceEstate states GO NEW YORK LIBERTY!: Why not? I had a Mazda MX-6 Turbo that was broken into several times when I lived in Atlanta. Never did figure out what the attraction of a 12 year old Mazda was.

'Honorable' Mention: Ford Aspire

@38thsignal: Wasn't even trying to argue with you. Just relaying some information you may not have had.

@spill: I've tried to get this idea across to a lady I know. Doesn't matter if you never own one. Just get the basics down and you can make pretty much anything with wheels move.

@MajorOutage: I had an XJ Cherokee for awhile. I used to call it a car around a buddy of mine (wh0's really into Jeeps) just to watch him blow up. Yes, I'm an a-hole.

@mrwumasta: I grew up in Northern Nevada. I've found if you just drive slower, don't vary your speed, and keep some extra weight in the back you're fine.

@38thsignal: I've never done more than dabble with tow trucks. However, if the business model is anything like doing lockouts, there would be a yearly manual issued (for a price). It isn't like you need the whole owner's manual. You just need a reference chart for safe lift/tow procedure.

@pleasenopuffin: Former trucker here. Rail freight is great within its limits. Not too many stores have train tracks that pull up to the back door though. :)
