Yeah, repaint is a big killer..but even worse than that:

I've never driven one, and probably never will, but I'd nominate the Mazda Cosmo 110S.

Honda S800...791cc, 70 hp and revs to 10k.

The 12A FB RX-7 just barely misses the cutoff, so I nominate the Cosmo and RX-3 instead which both used a 982cc 10A rotary engine.

Also, had to add this one. One of my favorite ones

RIP, still one of my all-time favorites

"I rent a lot of cars, but I don't always know everything about them. So a lot of times, I drive for like ten miles with the emergency brake on. That doesn't say a lot for me, but it really doesn't say a lot for the emergency brake. It's really not an emergency brake; it's an emergency "make the car smell funny"

THIS!!! OMG this car was so good in its 1st and 2nd AWD turbo days. What was Mitsubishi thinking?!?!

If you look down and see this:

Seriously though; you know you're a bad driver when that thing where you accidentally drift across your lane and then signal as you are headed over to make it look intentional happens more than 1 time a week.

When the light turned red, the person didn't go. I waited a solid 10 seconds before a light tap on the horn to just remind them what the light meant.

Everyone always tells you that they'll drive and it is not a big deal.

... because racecar.

Okay, not cool!!!

I used to own one of these, I think people just can't appreciate it's quirky appeal.

This thing was crack pipe when I thought it was a Z3. A clean, low mileage Z3 would struggle to reach $16k, and adding a hood scoop and side pipes wouldn’t help the cause. To me, it’s worth less than the sum of its parts, merely because it is a poseur, but ignoring the Z3-ness of it, it’s worth as much as the base

Here is my 924S being modified for the track. Wide Body Kit (924 GTR style).

The 80s Duster at least gets a pass because it gave us this.

Victim of its own design, mostly due to the engine - I think I'd put the RX8 in this category too, but the RX-7 was "greater" in many ways.
