I own the Xoom 3G & the Vaio P.. I'm still really saddened that my Vaio's screen broke (Bastrop Fire evacuation); Xoom 3g's screen is showing some water damage as using it as a shower browser, but I can take it apart and fix that for like $100.

If you look at the most ancient prehistoric animals, they started out as odd sea creatures. I find it interesting that our robots are working the same way, and the human attempts at making bipedal robots on land are similar to species that were attempting the same thing biologically millions of years ago.

It's good that you're upset; in fact, the next time you call in to complain to your current ISP, you might mention that a connection like this is available;

I'd love to have a phone that turns into a bracelet; realtime updates FTW.

You'd be surprised how many people don't know what the term Annually means... I have people come into my store & they think it means monthly.. it's sad.

My wacom Cintiq 21UX is my single most expensive gadget, it was $2500 when I bought it, and I love it to death. Collectively, I've dumped about $7400 into my desktop PC.

I'll just leave this here...

Well played!

Consider that my current side project. ;)

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. I'm glad someone out there still remembers HW, Always rejuvenates the inspiration I have to continue designing a game like it. >:D

This would cause me to move to another country.

I'd assume so. I hate DRM; it just bugs the hell out of me. Completely pointless.

Definitely locking in.. Also to note, You can't purchase books on the Kindle store on the iPad due to app store restrictions, whereas Google doesn't care.

The Fire destroyed the Mini in this comparison, Did you even read it?

They don't get outdated nearly as quickly as you'd think.

I actually kind of like these designs, lmao. And I hate Comic Sans... So much so that I created a brand new 3d interface for our game to make absolutely certain that our producer couldn't put a crappy one in Comic Sans..

As a 3d Artist, I can say I really don't give a crap about whatever DRM they put into it. ZBrush is $800, if you're affluent enough to buy a 3d printer at this point, you can probably afford 3d software.

This is what return policies are for. We know the internals, we know the software, we can gauge performance on that (Just like with the iPhone 5); so why wouldn't people preorder?

I don't use Apple products, but I also don't use Auto-Brightness. In fact, I dislike that it adjusts on it's own, manual control all the way in that regard. (then again, it's built into my notification bar in Android, so it's easy to adjust on the fly)

Hence they said: 'not just a handful of affluent communities'.
