This is fairly common practice in places that have high flood risks. Dealers around New Orleans commonly move lots full of cars to parking garages before big storms. This was a sticking point after Katrina when a lot of NOPD...ummm....aquired vehicles from various lots.

Counterpoint: Snitching isn’t about non-criminals telling on criminals. It’s about being a criminal and not selling out other criminals to reduce your own time. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.
