See, this doesn't make me mad at all. It's an honest, mature assessment of my books. I'm glad you at least liked the first one. It's just that one dude, so arrogantly saying that it's riddled with YA cliches. That statement has become a cliche in itself.

Thank you, very much. I've already embarrassed myself plenty, but thank you for saying something positive. I really think you'll enjoy the movie.

:) Thanks for your mature response. We're all impressed.

Wow, Rob. Once again, io9 can't even mention us without throwing us under the bus. I'm not sure what we ever did to you guys. Seriously. I just don't understand the snarkiness, the cynicism, the negativity every time (which is rare thankfully) we're mentioned. I can't say I'm very excited for the Q&A that YOU guys

Really? Everyone was laughing? I find that incredibly hard to believe. The response from both trailers has been extremely positive.

I know you guys are pretty cynical about Maze Runner, and that's ok! I still love you. Haha. The response at Comic Con couldn't have been better (we had a Hall H Panel, A NerdHQ panel, and a surprise screening for some fans). Thanks, Meredith, and thanks to everyone who came in and said such nice things. I got a little teary eyed. I09 is one of maybe 3 sites that I check each and every single day. I just love it so much. I really think people will be impressed with the movie and how much it stands out. With a pretty small budget, they did

Wow, I really shouldn't have come over to my favorite website after all the love and excitement we've had this evening in other places about the trailer. I'm sorry so many of you hated my book. I tried my best. Wow, this hurts. (But, just to be clear, I wrote this in 2005; I have the initial rejections to prove it.

I'm an author (most popular is Maze Runner, movie coming out in February), I'm a nerd of supernatural proportions, and i09 is easily my favorite website. I don't comment much, but reading others' comments provides me with far too much entertainment during the day. Great to learn more about all these usernames I
