The prelude theme is so good, whats your opinion on FF9? I thought it had the best friggin soundtrack on that

How’d you feel about the final boss bit of this one? Trying to avoid going into spoiler territory, but I thought it was a bit drawn out and tedius, but neat at first.

I’ve been digging it, specifically my favorite minor character has been one of the engineers who is clearly a Westerner, and as such inflects his Japanese with an accent and some English spread throughout. Turns out they got an actual Japanese-american voice actor for the role, thought that was pretty neat.

Pfffffffft, Vashj’ir is my favorite zone, beautifully designed, has a great quest-line that conveys a sense of desperation as you’re trying to survive in an extremely hostile environment, and the whole water combat thing really never once bothered me. Vashj’ir=#1 zone all years.
