Everyone needs to look at the Miles Morales and Jon Stewart approach. Create a new character that represents that race, gender, and identity, give them the “powers” and unique origin and let it fly.

Hell yes, full agreement. Although Flash can throw out some of that awesome science babble, Legends has been the only one to really embrace it.

Same! At first it’s like, “Wow, they integrated the footage pretty seamless... hey, wait a minute.”

I initially thought it was just cut and edited footage from Justice League that was used. Once they interacted, I had a minor “holy shit” stroke.

It didn’t for me initially because the name didn’t stick. However, it should have, and I went back and rewatched after the Hedgehod of Surprise, and it clicked immediately. Which I like because it meant that it was ALL there the whole time if I’d just been paying more attention, and, at that point, I started.

In my defense I was having a hard time keeping all the many different characters straight and the show was moving very fast.
