It will not, but at least you can admit that in this day an age you can’t have the main character do it and expect the audience to still consider him the hero.

He’s 6' 4" I understand. If you cast an actor for Superman who is 6'2" plus heels on the boots, the difference isn’t nearly as noticeable.

That still aren’t nearly enough when standing around Jimmy Olsen.

Intellectually, we know that Superman doesn’t need to be as big as a brick shithouse and built like one. But it is what we have been used to since before my parents were born, so in our gut it just looks... off.

The problem with doing the Dance of the Dragons is that there are no good guys. Both the Green and the Blacks were composed almost entirely of assholes and monsters.

Hear, hear!

It’s not his build I’m objecting to, it’s his height. He is way shorter than Mehcad Brooks... Superman shouldn’t be 4 inches shorter than Jimmy Olsen, that’s just wrong

My problem isn’t his age it’s his height. He is going to look tiny next to Jimmy Olsen.

I don’t think so. They seem to have their children’s best interest in mind.

Ever since we found out about this I’ve been mighty suspicious that the nuns of Saint Agnes were “up to something”.

But Matt was already a pre-teen when his father died and he got sent to Saint Agnes. while Daisy got sent there as a baby and returned there between foster homes.

When Daisy was rescued as a baby the agents sent her to Saint Agnes Orphanage, which is the same place Matt Murdock ended up when his father died. And it was the Orphanage that made the arrangements to have her moved between different foster homes later on.

Nobody is erasing the minority. The minority still exists and they get to call themselves whatever they want. They just can’t expect the majority to go along with a name change they disagree with.

There’s a difference between respecting the rights of a minority within your own group and letting them make decisions for the majority against the majority’s wishes.

If you see that the whole group does not use the term to refer to themselves, you can infer that they do not approve of the new proposed terminology.

That’s not what I said.

Yes, considering that article makes it clear that it’s only a small group of people using the term to refer to themselves, so using to refer to all people of Latin American descent isn’t appropriate.

I’ve never worn a fedora.

I fail to see how.

Well, for starters, you could apply a little bit of critical thinking and when you see the writers on a blog using a new term, go on line and check who is advocating for the new term, how widespread its use actually is and most importantly... if the new term refers to a specific group of people, check what that group
