I have really, really mixed feelings (mostly bad) about the whole “white British people singing soul music” trend. Even though some of them are truly talented, I wonder how much of their success was due to the novelty factor. What I’ve read on DataLounge is that Singer was dating some young guy on set, and walked in on Spacey fucking him. Singer flew into a rage and left the set for a few weeks. He obviously was ultimately persuaded to come back.

I hate those types of people...the ones who decry someone who is “making a scene.” They never go after the person whose actions caused the scene-maker to go off, though.

Ashton is massively wealthy from some tech investments he made, so I think that gives him more sway than his “star” status. They’re extremely close from their That 70s Show years.

FWIW, a blind item on CDAN the other day said this would happen. That Weinstein has given her money to say these things.

What interesting timing! His close friend Gary Goddard, who was accused by Anthony Edwards of sexual assault, just took a “leave of absence.” Goddard and Singer were both named by Michael Egan in his lawsuit that was thrown out a few years ago.
