You are right about the PS3. I fell for what magic was promised and was an early adopter as well, but, and not to be mean in anyway, the 3DS beginning months are FAR worse than the PS3. I watched a marathon of this last summer. Got no projects done. I was also late to work several times... But so was the manager, so it was ok. Haha
