The driver admitted that she was looking at her smartphone instead of the road. This accident was completely the driver’s fault. Next case.

“28-year-old female driver...”

Toyota (including Lexus) cars account for about half of the carbon monoxide/proximity key-related injuries and fatalities, according to the Times.

What an honor. I mean... I have no stake in America after I retire next year seeing as I’m Canadian/Italian. But thanks anyway!

Reads like a hit piece. Probably because it is one.

You’re such a Tesla hater I wonder how you planning on getting any journalistic integrity back down the road.

I was there in 2009 and at that time the entire city looked like WW2 had happened the day before. Everything just burned out, abandoned, or falling apart. Nice to hear that maybe things are getting better?

A really sad one is the old Nash & American Motors headquarters. It housed Chrysler’s Jeep and truck engineering operations until 2009, and is now a total wreck. Amazing the level of deterioration that can set in in a relatively short period of time.

This is great that they are rehabbing old architecture for this kind of stuff. Next target, Buffalo Central Terminal?

I don’t think most people understand the unbelievably cool architecture that is pervasive across Detroit from its heyday. I remember being blown away at seeing this from a taxi on my way into downtown once. It completely changed my opinion of Detroit in a single image.

I guess Group 4 is too small for them to worry about.

This sums up the BMW opinion perfectly. What is heritage anyway?

Now playing

Indeed, it is a PR win for Tesla. Though even if they were found at fault, they aren’t that far off from the truth. If the guy were paying attention to the road he would be alive today.

Yeah, but why accept responsibility for your own actions when you can blame someone else and sue for millions?

That’s a piece of equipment Uber is using in the vehicle. The actual center screen in that Volvo looks much nicer.

And just like a student driver, they have a supervisor who will take over if shit goes wrong.

I don’t see the problem with this statement about student drivers. This is the whole point of “real world testing” that the AV industry is going through at the moment.

it took some time but we knew the SJW trolls would show up...
