As much as I love Matt smith, (he’s my favourite of the modern Doctors) I actually think I’d prefer Peter Capaldi for Nightmare. I think he could play a really good villain, and I’d love to see him going up against Benedict.

This...really doesn’t surprise me. At all.
Though I’m having a bit of difficulty deciding whether I’m amused at her honesty or annoyed that she seemingly didn’t care to ask what movie the scenes were for.
Well like God said in Supernatural, “Endings are hard.”
(Which is probably why they’ve been struggling to end it for so long.. ;) )
But he didn’t remember her. Because of his whole ‘swiss-cheesed’memory. And Al didn’t tell him...for reasons.. :/
Oh jeez! They better not go there. I had enough problems with Logan undoing the happy ending of Days of Future Past by implying Professor X got all his X-men killed. I really can’t handle the idea of this show undoing All Good Things by similarly implying that Picard got all of his crew killed as well.
Not again I tell…
Yes...The Grapes of Wrath!
Oft! yeah. I’d forgotton about her in New Frontier. (Maybe deliberately!) That film was indeed a very mixed bag as far as the voices were concerned. I remember not liking Jeremy Sisto’s Batman either.
Kyle MacLachlan’s always good value. I think he may have even done some other voice work. I always thought he might…
They were indeed done at the same time. I stay in Scotland and know someone who worked on the film, and for two years I’ve had to keep my mouth shut about Hulk & Rocket Raccoon’s truck ride, fat Thor & Professor Hulk, and Valkyrie returning.
(Managed it though because I had that assh*le Devin Faraci spoil…
Agreed. The most damaging one for me was Peter Weller’s Batman in the Dark Knight Returns. I love Peter Weller as an onscreen actor, and I’ve even met him in person, and he was great. But his line deliveries in the Dark Knight Returns animations were painful to hear. Especially that oh so dull reading of “These men…
It would be funny, if somewhere down the line they revealed that. Kind of like a film equivalent of Asimov’s Foundation and Robot series revealing that all along they were connected.
Nostalgic and fun. In the best of ways. It is very quick though.
Wesley’s arc was the best I’ve ever seen for any character on tv, before or since.
Well said. It’s my favourite too. So I’m desperately hoping something comes of this..
I’m just glad to see the yellow octave Batsign on his chest again. I’ve missed it.
Yeah, Scottish accent’s are notoriously hard to shake.
He’s been killed in the comics before and recovered. But then given that the tv show couldn’t even make The Purple Man...y’know Purple, then I don’t hold out a lot of hope for them being true to the books in that regard either.
I felt the same way when Hugo Weaving got cast as the Red Skull. He would have made a great Norman Osborn. (Sigh!)
Maybe the first Life is Strange as well?
It’s funny I never got or understood that whole ‘George Lucas ruined my childhood’ attitude that developed. There was nothing, (including Jar Jar Binks) that ruined my enjoyment of the original trilogy. To me it always too separate from the original trilogy for that to happen. All the folk moaning about Anakin;- well…
Yeah, if you were after anything with actual superhero costumes, these are not the shows to watch. That’s for sure.
