Nice.

The best part was the guy waving off the driver of the Chevy, as if he had any control over the pending doom at that point.

I wanted one so bad.

Amazing story. Thanks for sharing.

I'm doing the same thing in my '97 TJ. What piston/rod combo are you using?

I saw this car sitting in front of (what I'm guessing to be) the seller's house. Drove past and thought "sweet caddy." Wish I could've stopped and checked it out.

1985 Jeep Cherokee 2-door, 4x4. I thought I was the coolest kid on the block.

If anybody can make NASCAR entertaining, it's Travis Pastrana.

1980 Volvo 242GT. The car had been repainted in black, and the engine electrical was a nightmare with household extension cords spliced into the harness.

That thing looks ruff.

This guy has been cheesing.

Congratulations!

You can still buy a Dodge, Chevy, or Ford with vinyl seats and roll-up windows. Or you can buy one with leather, DVD, and heated cup holders. Whatever you want is out there. Manufacturers make money by providing what people want to buy. That is the point of capitalism. If you don't like it, don't buy it. An

@rawtoast: A guy in Birmingham (AL) had one, and I would occasionally see him driving around. I've since moved, so I'm not sure if he's still around, or even if he still has the car.
