@Paul Y: People still buy trucks like that here in Alabama, and they use them. You can get a no-option bare bones truck at the dealerships here (well, the dealerships away from the city).

I'm pretty sure Tennessee no longer allows open containers in a vehicle.

You have to remove the entire cab of these trucks to do any type of major engine work. I'm not sure exactly what kind of work that includes, but we have received bulletins here at work showing these things in the shop with the cab on a hoist and the chassis on the ground. We're having to design special bulkheads so…

Delete the racing stripes and that wouldn't look bad for a Focus. Bit of a shame on the name, though.
