Right, frame libertarians as racists looking to kill minorities... That's a great method, I'm sure you convince a lot of people to "your side" with that one.

You're looking at it the wrong way. IT DOESN'T MATTER. Printing a gun is no different than anything you build/do now.

So..... a stolen gun with the serial number removed, also untracable... is less "scary" to you than a 3D printer huh?

You keep either using the word "scary" wrong. Or you're just scared of your own shadow.

Of course it would. It's even cheaper to just steal a gun.

There is no requirement to register a home made gun. Only if you make with intent to sell, which in that case makes you a mfg and you need an FFL.

Flat trigger is fairly common on the 1911 "raceguns". I sort of agree on the kerning though :)

Or because that's what the 160 million gun owners in the US use their guns for :\

Nothing about this is "scary".

"There has been no attempts at gun control." ......

Yea, pretty much, but trying to explain to people that think an AR-15 is an "assault rifle" or "assault weapon" that the lower can be made from plastic and every single AR out there "could" be converted to full auto with a drill press and a $10 auto sear and pin doesn't explain as well as 3D printing does to them.

Sorry kids... Genie is out of the bottle now.... 3D printing really did kill any attempt at gun control.

Coincidentally, it is NOT illegal to yell fire in a crowded theater like most people think it is. Yes, you are correct, bad taste, but that's all.

The wifi name is NOT the stupid part of this story.

I think perhaps my point isn't the people need to be more hard, it's that we're lucky on average to be so soft. However... I feel maybe a little too soft.

Hmmmm....

THE DELICIOUS IRONY when very liberal people... like say the type the really dig gawker sites... have these two ideologies AT THE SAME TIME:

There are people that can handle it and people that can't. I have a super weak stomach for it, but I there are perfectly well adjusted people who it doesn't phase at all.

I LOVE that the article interviews what I would expect (assuming, I know... and also stated in the article) to be far left of center liberal people who while being exposed to seeing what people really do, can't accept it.

I think a big note in this article is that the people interviewed and selected can not handle is because of the very sensitive and protected life they've lead so far.
