Exactly opposite of what you said. The guns are held on to. They're "known" dirty and used in crimes. If you're caught with a dirty gun, you'll have an alabi for most of the crimes, you can make a deal with police using phony information that helps you and screws nobody.

I suppose being that ignorant must come with just non-stop bliss. Lucky you!

"Nobody wants to buy plastic parts for 10-100X the cost of injected molded fiberglass filled plastics or cheap metals."

Oh look, an antigun commenter that has NO IDEA what they are talking about!! Weird! Let me grab my camera!!! Usually the people with fears against inanimate objects are so well versed in technical aspects and general knowledge of their chose evil talisman!

That's ADORABLE you want to hop on the "had it for years" wagon... But you are talking about a feature Safari has had for years :(

Almost every commercial rifle silencer is made from Inconel 600 series... It's really not nearly exotic as the title would have anyone believe.

It's cute that you apparently don't have google where you live.

Must be trolling. No one could really be this fucking stupid.

COME TO XBOX!!!

You're not funny. And no one thinks you are clever.

"The video game entertainment itself still can keep the Sony name afloat". I think we're done here, you're not sane.

lol... When your company posts a 5.5 BILLION dollar loss in one year, and hasn't posted a profit in 6-7 years... ALL of your divisions are in trouble.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Gawker and Liberal media spend all of last year trying their very hardest to make it look like the USA has some massive "gun crime" problem that "more prohibition" would solve (Despite violent crime including murder, rape, armed assault, theft falling to the lowest levels (1960's equiv) this

Not if the house moves to the right it's not.

"That way hackers can't smash airbags into your face just because they have control of what's on the radio."

LOL, should you ever have the misfortune of getting stuck with low pressure cast screws. It's times like this I'm reminded just how little most people know about making anything. No offense, it's just that most people have no idea how screwed they would be if they were left to their own care.

A fast pass with a 1"-2" ball, then 1/2" ball end mill would have looked a lot nicer. My guess is hand work with a wet grinder after CNC.

Also.... Structured Light Scanner...... NOT A LASER SCANNER. But I guess it's a little much for a tech site to know about tech?

I'm guessing they went in by hand later. A wet disc sander and a brown guy making minimum wage are definitely cheaper than using that CNC. That just wouldn't look nearly as sexy on the video.

Incorrect. Watch what happens to that part over time. Surface finish that rough will absolutely be visible as it starts to collect dirt, erode away unevenly, etc. That machine could have done a much better finish in a short amount of time.
