I'm not sure why anyone would think the PS4 will be better out of the gate. It uses the exact same back end the PS3 uses. There is nothing on the hardware side that makes the PS3 download slowly, it's Sony's servers/bandwidth.

Shitty backend. IIRC, Sony has said they plan on upping the servers to something like 15k. This past gen MS had 15k for LIVE, now they are on to 300k.
Considering the real video just game out on Monday, they did an INCREDIBLY good job at this. This is how satire should be done.
Have I ever told you what the definition of insanity is?
In before some idiot claims the PS4 has DirectX!
Hmm.... And which console was the shitty one to work with? Which one got the shitty ports?
Actually..... You have no idea what you're talking about.
Thanks... CAN NOT BE UNSEEN. Ruined it forever. Oh, need to get from shell to sword quickly, arg back to shoulder!
That dog has NO CHANCE of surviving the campaign. There will be a Doggie Rescue Mission. There will attempts at heart strings. That dog will die - OR - someone will die for it. Not a doubt in my mind.
How could anyone believe this?
To be quite frank, the only one lying to themselves is you. The days of people convincing themselves they are making a prudent investment in PC with a graphics card that will be replaced in two years alive and kicking.
The TV is a house item. It's going to exist where or not I own a console or PC. But, if you want to make things fair and amortize the cost of the TV into the console price but taking the price of the TV ($1000 average?) by taking the % of time that TV is used for the console that's fine. In my case and I'd guess on…
I so enjoy that it's been "buy a Pc! You can build a $600 PC that smokes any next gen console!"... Then when it gets less abstract about hardware actually needed the real price is more like $1200. I don't care, Pc gaming isn't for me, I don't have time to dick with parts/upgrades/drivers/tweaking each game/crashes but…
You've apparently not played a Battlefield game before. "Recommended" is not ultra settings, it's very playable, but people will upgrade to get nicer looking and faster.
Ah, yes, enjoy that "master race" and all that. PC gamers are notorious for not mentioning and being honest about the drawbacks of PC vs consoles.
There is nothing "wierd" about suggesting Windows8 (8.1 really). MS has said DirextX 11.2 is only coming to Win 8.1. Dice has already said they have optimizations in place for DirectX 11.2 on PC and X1...
It's hard to say that it's any one thing like cell or internal managment. It's like anything else. Look at Nintendo, they are EXCELLENT at managing their money, but made some recent mistakes in marketing the WiiU. You can be damn sure they have a contingency plan though. Nintendo does about about NOTHING in debt…
That chart is relative for sizes not positions. Nintendo is clearly selling more units.
You aren't reading that chart correctly. The sizes are comparable, not their positions. Sony is clearly selling fewer units.
Um... Anyone who can look at even sort of basic fanancial information is not worried either about Microsoft or Nintendo.
