“I have miscalculated the value of my Twitter activity and realize that it is nothing worth supporting by itself for the vast majority of people. It is not me who is popular, but it is that work that is useful. It is not valuable by itself, but a comfortable timesaver, and I get that now.”

Yes. If you modulate your expectations to “slightly interactive movie” then you’ll probably have a good time.

Yep. You get essentially the same experience watching a playthrough on Youtube.

You can use it to buy credits because that’s the bottleneck for progression.

This, this, THIS! I genuinely like playing healer/support, but the loss of choice (real or self-inflicted) kills the joy of it.

So, I actually really enjoy playing support roles. But I’m starting to genuinely get sick of them due to feeling forced to play them.

I haven’t used voice or text chat with randoms since CoD4 and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I think I found your issue.

Upgrades to cards making them more powerful would basically kill a game like this, unless you had incredibly tight matchmaking.

Have you been to a Gamestop lately? I picked up groceries and some power steering fluid while looking for some Splatoon Amiibo reissues the other day.

The show seems to be implying that the kids spent a lot of quality time with Ser Criston Cole, which admittedly would fuck up almost anyone.

I’m glad it’s okay to admit liking Avatar now.

His partner confirmed that he passed away on Friday. Somehow it’s three days later and there hasn’t been a single mention of it in any sort of official capacity here.

To be fair it does take a long time to put systems like these in a game that was made with no stuff like these in mind.

As someone else noted this may be due to Sony removing the “Redeem a code” feature where you could buy digital games from other stores and redeem them on the playstation store. Because there are no other stores to buy from it may fall under a monopoly in uk/euro courts.

I wonder if this is related to the ruling on Sony removing the redeem a code feature. I think the judge in that case noted that the plaintiffs had a possible case, but their specific argument was flawed (they didn’t provide any data to back up their claims).

I think it’s less (at least for me) that I’m bothered by her going full mad queen then the fact that it was done so abruptly. I agree she always had the makings of the next mad queen but at the time in the show she wasn’t even close to there yet. It needed AT LEAST another 2 seasons of her rule to let the slow descent

“... ended with what is arguably the most poorly thought-out character assassination in television history: In a rushed heel turn, Daenerys Targaryen, our intelligent, ambitious, and charismatic (if controversial) heroine for eight seasons, looked down on King’s Landing from astride her dragon, went abruptly apeshit,

Seconded. A more-honest version of the statement from the intro lede would read “The director who revived Final Fantasy XIV says that the series isn’t adapting being adapted well to new trends.”

Including a rough playtime is a really great call. As someone with sadly too little time to play video games these days, having some kind of idea before I decide whether to get a game or not is a huge boon.
