Wow...a yellow Type 3 VW. Back in 1973 I bought a brand new 1973 yellow VW Squareback with factory A/C. Every time the A/C compressor kicked on, the car lost 5 mph. I still loved the car. I made the fatal mistake of trading it in on a 1974 Type 4 Wagon. Everything in the world went wrong with the Type 4. It had a two

Just traded in my 2016 Honda Accord Touring V6 for the 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T. The power is equal or maybe even a bit stronger than my V6. The 10 speed auto is way smoother than the 6 speed auto of the V6. The cruise control can be set at zero mph and the car will move out and stop with bumper to bumper

It happened to me when I arrived in New Zealand. I was taken aside for hours while they grilled me as to why I was coming to New Zealand (just vacationing). My passport was 5 months from expiring. They did finally let me in the country but it wasn’t easy.

I was out for a Sunday ride when I was 13 years old with my dad. He and I liked to go out and “blow out the carbon” of his 1959 VW Bug with a whopping 36 hp. He pulled over and asked if I wanted to drive...heck, yes. I was a bit hard on the clutch but never stalled it all the way home. It was in the late fall of 1962

Two things drive me crazy: When cops are giving chase, no matter what kind of car the bad/good guys are driving, the cops can always keep up with them. They chase a Z06 Corvette and they manage to stay right up with it. Lastly the bad guys/cops come up side by side of the car they are chasing, pump 1000 bullets into

I’m the sole owner of my Space Gray 2009 E92 M3 with every option. It just turned 8100 miles and I’m willing to sell it for half the price of the M1...first offer over $329,000 gets it. I’ll even throw in a full tank of gas and an official BMW M3 hat. Shipping and taxes are extra.

A Vtec sticker is good for an extra 2 Kwh.

I don’t know about the mower being turned on.....but I was.

I owned a 1974 412 Wagon for 4 years. Yep, it was Orange. Took me from Oregon to New Hampshire to visit my parents 4 times without a flaw. Yet, every day I drove the car locally to work, something broke. An example would be the window washer fluid was powered by the spare tire. On my way to work one day, a hose under

I’m sure Maaco does the exact process when they paint cars for $345.

Is the Fitzgerald going to change its name from Navy Destroyer to Navy Destroyed? I can’t fathom (get it?) how two huge ships can collide out in the middle of the ocean.

This is exactly why we don’t get the nice cars...dealers will destroy it. I’m betting a year from now, there will be Type R’s sitting unsold on dealer’s lots. People who really want them AND are stupid enough to pay huge premiums will get the car. All the others, will move on to something else. The Dodge Viper went

Talked to my salesperson at Honda in Eugene, OR. They are selling the Type R’s at MSRP+$5K. They told me other dealers in Oregon are charging $10K to $15K over. The Ford Focus RS and Golf R are looking better and better. Acura dealer in the same building has an NSX (list $185K) with a $50K markup...$235K? Whoa.

Yep...Enrique Iglesias. He kept on singing with his slashed finger after reaching out to the drone. He ended up in the ER right after the concert. He was bleeding all over the stage.

Well I sure hope we can get back to leaded gas and get rid of catalytic convertors in cars. I want my dual quads back on top of my 8 liter motor along with 100 octane gas and managing 6 mpg. Keep digging for that oil in everyone’s backyard. Let’s bring our air back to the LA and NYC air of the 1960's...cough, cough.

I like the show but the Star in the Reasonably Priced Car is overdone with Chris Harris pretending to be a grumpy instructor. A number of years ago I was at a drifting school at Silverstone and had the pleasure to meet Chris Harris, who was also there. He is such a warm, friendly guy...not a mean bone in his body. I

This should become a commercial for smart phones...

If it’s anything like this, we’re talking about at least 3 million....It’s just “Huge” I tell you.

At least I hope some good comes from lowering the emission standards like once again allowing smokers to smoke inside office buildings, restaurants, and especially airplanes. I miss the old days.

Someone on YouTube dynoed the M2 Dinan Stage 4 and got 380 hp and 395 lb-ft at the wheels. Does that match up with the claimed 446 hp and 458 lb-ft claimed? Seems a bit low to me.
