Agree here, and everyone knows any of the years where you have a rare combo, be it engine, or exterior / interior combo blah blah those are what bring the big dog money. Many of these cars survived because of the fiberglass and simple parts. So many available the ones that distinguish themselves are these rare combo.

Your mistake was not acknowledging how the entire c2 and classic corvette market works and is based, nor the details. Thats what sells car, especially with a vintage car that has so many examples around.
