All I want to know is: Will it have a touchscreen so that it can function as a tablet too. I’m sure it will have the standard apps that the Wii U has like Netflix and Youtube, but will they need the controller to navigate? Unlike the Wii U, this tablet is docked, so its not like any one the games are going to be made…

Yes they can track without it, but the IR grid is needed for the purposes shown off. The grid acts as an identifier for the object so that they can have multiple objects and it allows it to track the stretching of material.

You can sign into windows store separately from your windows user login. Same way you can use a different account on the xbox app than what your windows login is.

The main problem with completely swapping out versions like that is the existing mod support. It’ll take a few years to shift people to the new platform. Unless they try to force the change on everyone by offering a limited time free upgrade a la Windows 10 style.

I only preorder games if I get to try them out in a Beta. For example, Battlefront beta made me know I didnt want the game, whereas Battlefield 1 beta left a good impression so I preordered to get the extra little bonuses.
