The reason is numpads. They center it with the keyboard/spacebar and the numpad throws it off center. While more visually unappealing, after using one you’ll realize that centering it with the spacebar is the best option. You can keep your hand in a typing position and use your thumb to navigate.

Simply buy it do a windows refresh on day one if it comes with bloatware that you dont like.

Depends on how you use your PC. If you’re doing couch coop with 4 controllers, and actually sitting 15ft away, a wireless adapter is nice to have. I used wired for years, then found a $10 adapter on Amazon and now its hard to go back. I already had 360 controllers lying around though so it wasnt an added cost.
