I played it yesterday, and to be honest it seemed a bit half-baked. Shepard speaking to missing team-mates, scripted battles, small duration, and lots and lots of plot holes. Especially the part where you meet the Admiral.
Obviously proper compression does wonders.

I just want to clarify that I wasn't trying to troll anyone. I got the marketshare percentage from wikipedia. Whether they are accurate or not I don't know. I just pointed them out because whenever I read a comment here I get the impression that 9 out of 10 people use OSX. I just want to put things into perspective.

Well, it's caused by the hardware acceleration. If you turn it off the problem goes away. Apart from this there is no other known solution.
